Approximately every 22 minutes and 12 seconds, the Fennec Fox activates its ability. It visits another player’s garden, picks a random fruit there, and attempts to copy one of its mutations. If successful, it applies that mutation to one of your own fruits that doesn’t already have it. The chance of successfully copying a mutation decreases with its rarity / multiplier: rare mutations are harder to snag. It cannot apply to plants you’ve favorited, so strategy matters (don’t favorite everything if you want mutations applied).
